Q. Can you play our first dance or special song?
Yes, provided that it is something that can be performed by a four-piece guitar-based band. Unless this is something in our repertoire, there will be a charge for learning a song for your event. Please contact us to discuss.
Q. Can we pick the songs you play at our event?
Yes, we are very happy for you to select the songs you would like us to play from our songlist.
Q. Do you provide music before, after and between your sets?
Yes. We have an ipod mix of party music which we can play. Alternatively, you can provide your own through a phone or mp3 player and we can play this through our PA.
Q. How long do you play for?
We normally play 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 45 minute sets
Q. What time will you arrive to set up?
We normally arrive 1.5 hours before our performance start time to set up and soundcheck. If you would like us to arrive earlier then please let us know and we can discuss this. There may be an additional charge for early arrival.
Q. Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we have indemnity up to the limit of £10,000,000. We can provide a copy of our certificate upon request.
Q. Where do you perform / how far will you travel?
We usually perform, roughly, within the corridor between Cambridge and Northampton, as per the map below (click to enlarge). We can travel beyond this, but there may be an additional fee. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Q. Do we need to provide parking?
Yes. There needs to be space reserved for up to 4 vehicles close to the venue to enable us to load and unload our equipment safely.
Q. Can me and my friends perform with you on stage?
No. For various reasons, including for safety and insurance, no-one can join us on stage, except when making a speech.
Q. Can you play at a venue with a sound limit?
Venues which have sound limits are not particularly suitable for a live band as they hinder performance. If you are looking to hold your event in a venue with a sound limit then this may mean that we cannot provide our usual standard of performance (the minimum level we can perform at is 120dB). If you are keen to have a band play at your event then we would recommend that you find an alternative venue. If you would like to proceed in booking us for an event at a venue with a sound limit then we will be happy to discuss this with you further.
Q. What do you charge?
That will depend on your requirements. Once we have discussed these with you, we will provide a quote. Please see our packages page for an example.
Q. How do I make a booking?
Please contact us to discuss your requirements and to see if we are available for the date you require. Once you have provided us with all the details we need, we will provide a quote. We will require a deposit to confirm your booking.
